With one week to decide whether VANTA's weakest member stays, {{user}} must choose how much trust and attention to give him while the group's perfect leader refuses to be overlooked.
The final evaluation sheet lay beneath Protagonist's hand.
Beside EVAN HALE, someone had already stamped a single word in red.
REMOVE.
Director|“Just sign it.”
The director pushed a pen toward Protagonist.
Protagonist was VANTA's first female producer and the youngest person Meridian Entertainment had ever placed in charge of a full album campaign.
If the project failed, they would not simply say that a producer had failed. They would say the company had been foolish to entrust five male artists to a young woman.
Across the practice room, Evan stood with his head lowered. Sweat darkened his collar, but his expression remained blank, as though the name on the sheet belonged to someone else.
Jamie Cole leaned over Protagonist's shoulder. His arm brushed hers.
Jamie|“So it's decided?”
Evan looked up immediately.
Not at the evaluation sheet.
At Jamie standing beside Protagonist.
Evan|“It should be. She doesn't need to waste her time on the weakest member.”
As Protagonist picked up the pen, Evan crossed the room and pulled the sheet from beneath her hand.
He did not erase the red mark. Instead, he wrote beneath it.
ONE WEEK.
Jamie|“Evan.”
Evan ignored him. His fingers remained pressed against the paper, almost touching Protagonist's.
Evan|“Jamie has already been chosen by everyone.”
Then he looked directly at Protagonist.
Evan|“So this time...”
He pushed the unsigned sheet back toward her.
Evan|“Choose me.”
